Sundar Mero Nam and Prakhee BaseKathmandu- Tele serial star Deepakraj Giri has got leading role in a feature film. His movie Sundar Mero Nam is currently screening in the halls. However the movie couldn't be success as expected before.The film made under the banner of Gopi Krishna Movies has been directed by Bijaya Thapa. Garima Panta, in the role of actress, is in double role with Ramit Dhungana. The movie focuses on the significance of inner asthetic part of human being. Popular as a comedian actor, Deepakraj giri has serious role in this movie. Despite the unique subject and good presentation,the movie couldn't gain the expected business target.Another movie "Parkhee Base" made under the same banner has become successful. This love based movie has strong musical wing. Nikhil Upreti, Rajbullav Koirala and Una Upreti are in central role whereas Suresh Adhikari is the musician.
Kathmandu - The two weeks long Nepali film festival began in capital Kathmandu. The festival, organized by Film Technician Association Nepal has been opened at Sivadarshan hall, Baneshor on Friday.34 Nepali movies, Papi Manchhe, Abhimannu, Manish, Dadagiree, Krisahna-Arjun, Bharosa, Basain, Karma Yodda, Nikhil dai, Labkush, Krodh, Sabdhan, Hami Taxi Driver, Feri Arko Saino, ye.. Pandit Baje, Vai-Vai, Ram-Laxman, Sakti, Bintipatra, Himmat, Duniya, Aamako Kakh, Manma maya, Jivan Datdata, Bajrapat, Raju Rajaram, Dhakan, Bhagya, Ajambari Nata, Pare Ni Mayajalaima, Muglan, Maidan, Hangama are competing for awaard on 29 various titlePokhara - Recently the series of movie production outside Kathmandu valley has been growing. Latest one, 'Mayako Sansar' is moving ahead for shooting. The Movie has started for shooting from a ceremony held in Pokhara on Monday. Shreeram Poudel has taken the director' chair. Gan Badhur Poudel and Sunita Gurung are in the leading role. To be made under the banner of S.G.N. Film Production, Mayako Sansar includes the fight director Rajkumar Batas and Dance director Lekhnath Aashis. Kovidsaran Upadhya has composed music and Indra Thapa has contributed as a singer. Kathmandu - 'Ye... Pandit Baje', A comedy based Nepali movie has entered Kathmandu after screened in out of valley. The movie directed by Sunil Pandey has made on general social issue. Under the banner of Shree Ganesh Film Production Madhu Sudhan Silwal has invested for the movie. Nikhil Upreti, Niruta Singh, Dilip Rayamajhi, Sushil Pokhrel, Rekha Thapa, Kiran K.C are in the main role.

Written and directed by Laxman Subedi, there is a leading role of Laxmi Giri, Susmita Karki, Binod Shrestha, Sanjeev Khadgi etc. in this serial. Sanjeev Khadi as a roducer and Bikram Shrestha as a cameraman will perform their skill in this serial.
